Due to the corona, there was only out-of-home sales such as coffee, hot orange juice, punch, bratwurst with rolls / fries and potato soup with sausages ... Prices were okay.

Small, fine inn with some highlights for the little ones in one of the most beautiful hiking regions in Germany.

Very tasty food. Cozy ambience. Nice service. Well thought-out hygiene concept. Gladly again!

The food was delicious and so was the rest. There was nothing to criticize for us.

Unfortunately we were the only guests in bad weather! A very nice house, great service and delicious food! Be sure to stop by, there is also a small animal enclosure!

Unfortunately no longer so traditional dishes on offer. No game, goulash, dumplings, .... rather the quick, simple kitchen with chips and co. The prices are okay and the dishes are manageable.

The Thuringian Rhönhaus is located between Frankenheim and Oberweid and is a good place to stop for hikers in the Rhön. Here you will find down-to-earth home cooking at fair prices. The waitresses are always friendly. We were lucky to be able to reserve a table for several people at short notice at the weekend, even though there were many guests. Thank you for that and see you again soon!

Although it was very crowded, they made sure we got a seat. The service was very quick and courteous. Coffee and cake was excellent. The environment around the building is very well designed. Very suitable for hikers. Noah's sail is very close. I'll be back.

Nice service, great food, great with children

The Thuringian Rhönhaus was only built after the merger of the GDR with the Federal Republic in 1990. The entire facility is designed for children, and there are even some pets to be seen. Agricultural machinery from earlier times can be seen inside the Rhönhaus. It's a worthwhile goal.

Suuuppper nice! 😍 Great to walk there! A few animals 🐇 🐓🐐 to look at for children! The cakes 🍰🤤 there are amazing, huge and very, very tasty! Sanitary facilities clean 👍 Definitely more often in the future! 😃

Thuringian Rhönhaus was recommended to us several times and after a long journey, great anticipation and huge hunger, we were very disappointed. After 15 long minutes at the table there was unfortunately no service, no drinks and not even the menu. We were not even registered or noticed when we got up.

Ideal for families, the restaurant was very clean, the food was quite good, huge portions and such friendly and courteous staff is really rare. I can recommend with a clear conscience, but please make a reservation! For dessert you should definitely treat yourself to a super delicious cream puff, without really missing anything.

Only 2 tables in the entire outdoor area have shade at lunchtime, all others are in the blazing sun. It could be so nice if the operators put up some parasols! Especially since we heard from guests at the neighboring tables that it was unbearably hot in the blazing sun. Answer from the service staff: Then you just have to go into the building. But there were no more vacancies there. It's a shame, otherwise it would be very nice there!

Nice outdoor area, recommended for families with children. It's a shame that there are no parasols in the garden. So unfortunately you sit in the blazing sun, if you don't catch the table under the tree. Very large portions, both with food and with cake. Good taste. Nice personel

The food was delicious. There were Thuringian dumplings and roulades that were very good. There was also Thuringian sausage - but not from the grate. But it tasted anyway. You can pay with a card. However, only with an EC card and not with a credit card.

The potatoes soup is excellent

Nice inn. Quaintly furnished but still new. Right next to it is a small zoo.
